Achromatopsia

Some days you wake up and colours seem esspeically bright and other days all the colours seem to fade. I have often wondered what it is to be colour blind and often found that the world can still be amazing even without colour. Here is some shots i have taken without.

Building A - Frenchs Forrest

Stand tall - Mona Vale

Mossy Tree - Cairns

Three Poles - Cairns

Wings - Long Reef

Stream - Long Reef
Tiny - Building A

The past, present and future

In order to move forward in life we must recognise where we have come from.

“I was really into the way Steve Bigler surfed and Dewey Webber and Lance parson and all the guys how just had this Jive and there personality came out in it. They knew what they wanted to do and they didn’t care what everyone else was doing and that’s how they were going to do it, that’s culture that natural progression and that’s probably why I surf the way I do.”

Photography is an amazing form, its astounding how you can capture what you see in a single frame and show your point of view. I love the way a photo can take your mind in a million directions in a single glance, or bring you right back down in your seat. From portraits to landscapes, artistic to minimalistic they all say a thousand words but the ones that i find alive, compelling and inspirational are seascapes. I believe that the ocean is unforgiving but at the same time gracious, it can be up lifting and very humbling.
These are a few shots of photos i have taken:
